The North America Ghanaian Seventh –Day Adventist (NAGSDA) adult and youth camp meetings 2014 ended Sunday, July 20 on the beautiful campuses of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Allegheny College, respectively.
According to Elder Osei Agyena our NAGSDA Treasurer, about 800 adults and 300 youth attended this year’s convocations. The saints of God were blessed by powerful messages on the themes, “ON THIS ROCK.” (Adults) and “Faith in Action” (Youth).
New NAGSDA officers were selected.
- President- Pastor Appiah Kubi kwarteng-Philadelphia
- Secretary- Pastor Kofi Antwi Adarkwa -Virginia
- Treasurer -Elder Osei Agyena- Chicago
The following were elected for special ministries:
- Youth – Dr. Eric Frempong
- Children – Elder. Tommy Acquah
- Music – Mr. Sam Asare Bediako (Assistants- Mr. Sammy Danquah and Mr. Kwame Brew)
- Women – Ms Sarah Pokuah (Assistants- Ms Mama Yoxo and Ms Diana Frimpong)
We pray that God will endow our new officers with courage, love and vision during their term of office. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
For their rich services to the organization, expressions of thanks and appreciation were extended to the former officers and departmental directors.
